DJ/MC Services

This is my profession. I’m not a “DJ on the weekends”, but a DJ by trade. What this means for you is…

✨ Professionalism. I try my best to live by the Golden Rule both on and off the clock. This affects how I conduct business in ways like making prices straight-forward and easy, being flexible and understanding with last-minute changes, being both fun AND professional when each is needed, and much more!

✨ Experience. I started out in 2018 as a side-hustle, working for a company that had several DJ’s. Once I felt confident that I could be proud of the work I did, I left that company on good terms and now I do this full time. I always make sure to apply what I learned to the next event. My details worksheets reflect this, you’ll certainly want to see those!

“Your business persona makes me feel like you’re a little too silly for the kind of classy vibe I want at my party.”
Thankfully, the guy who trained me into the profession did a good job teaching me how important it is to read your audience,
not to mention communicate preferences in advance! I like to have fun, and can absolutely be silly and make jokes,
but in my professional opinion, it’s actually better to err on the side of being a little too formal than to be a little too silly.
So I promise you have nothing to worry about there. But do let me know if that’s a concern! :)

✨ Reliability. I respond quickly (usually within an hour, but sometimes up to 24 hours), I show up 2 hours early to set up, if I tell you I’m gonna work on something then I’m gonna work on it. It just goes back to the Golden Rule.

We can summarize what you need to know in two parts:

“Are you good?”

“What’s it like to work with you?”

I have to have a good answer for both.

🤢 If I’m fun and easy to work with but I bomb your event, then none of it mattered.
😡 If I’m annoying to work with, but I ROCK that dance floor and hit all your musical cues, you’ll at least feel like you didn’t waste your money but you’d never refer me to your friends and family.

I will readily admit that I am VERY bad… at recording myself. ;) I’m great at what I do, and you can see in my reviews that everybody who’s worked with me has been very excited to have worked with me, even having repeat customers! But I do need to get better at proving it online. Remembering to record myself is my greatest professional weakness, and I’m working on that I swear!

For now, I rely on my reviews, my social media (links at the bottom of every page), and you asking me about things. I’m a very transparent person, so you’d be surprised at how direct your questions can be and get a straight answer. I’m proud of what I do, and I’m very aware of my strengths and weaknesses and would be happy to share them with you.

For now, I’d say the three main compliments I get are being easy to work with, having fair prices, and having a great ability to adapt my music to my audience. If those are important to you, we should talk!
